About NCA

Numonohi Christian Academy (NCA) is located in the heart of the Eastern Highlands Province in the island country of Papua New Guinea, the Land of the Unexpected.

Established in 1966, NCA exists as a part of the ministry of New Tribes Mission (NTM). The purpose of NCA is to glorify God and to assist in the establishing of indigenous tribal churches throughout PNG by supporting parents in providing a Christ-centered education for their children. The school offers grades K-12 and in addition to our standard academic curriculum includes a variety of electives such as Industrial Arts, Yearbook, a Work Study program, Band, and Home Economics (as staffing allows). Boys’ and girls’ basketball, volleyball, soccer, and softball teams have the opportunity to play competitive games with local school teams as well as friendly games with parents and teachers on center.

NCA is accredited by the Schools Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

For the 2017-18 school year NCA will enroll 72 students in the elementary school and 61 students in the middle and high school representing 8 different countries.
